Your wallet has an assigned and unique wallet address. A wallet address is required for receiving funds from an external wallet.
In order for you to receive particular cryptocurrency (e.g. ETH), you will need to know your specific receiving wallet address. Here are the steps to view your cryptocurrency wallet address:
Finding My Wallet Address
1. Once logged in to Coins.xyz, proceed to your Portfolio tab. From the list of supported ones, choose the token that you want to receive (in the sample, we'll use BTC).
2. Select the Network that you want to use, if applicable. Kindly make sure that the network you choose to deposit matches the withdrawal network, otherwise your funds will be lost.
3. You may now scan the QR code, or copy the wallet address shown in the screen for your receiving crypto wallet address.
Kindly go through the important reminders for receiving each currency to avoid any losses.
It is important to note that wallet addresses are case-sensitive. This means changing even just one letter from uppercase to lowercase (ex. changing a "G" into a "g") will turn it into a different address entirely.
If a different kind of currency or token is sent to your wallet address, this would likely mean that your funds are permanently lost.
